Pandering

Pandering is when you compromise your morals, beliefs, or logic to earn a living, or to keep a circle of friends who would hate you if they really knew you. Pandering can be quite lucrative, but you’ll hate yourself for it. If you already hate yourself, why not do it with a fat bank account.
